500g Quality Mark beef mince

½ cup fresh breadcrumbs
2 garlic cloves
crushed
2 Tbsp soy sauce
½ tsp Chinese five spice
½ cup sesame seeds
¼ cup white flour
Teriyaki Sauce
1 cup Mirin
1 cup sake
1 cup soy sauce
⅓ cup brown sugar
Rice
2 cups sushi rice
or short grain rice
4 ½ cups water
½ tsp salt
1 Tbsp canola oil
Salad (optional)
¼ green cabbage
thinly sliced
¼ cup shallot
fried
¼ cup bonito flake
3 spring onions
thinly sliced
Dressing for salad
2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 Tbsp canola oil
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sugar

Simmer the sake, mirin and soy in a saucepan for 5 minutes to cook off the alcohol.
