Method

To Make Patties
1

Pan fry the onion in a dash of oil until tender.

2

Add the tandoori paste and cook stirring for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Cool.

3

Mix together the cooked onion mixture, mince, breadcrumbs, yoghurt and coriander with a jolly good seasoning of salt and pepper.

4

Use wet hands to mould into 6-7 even-sized patties.

5

Cook over a moderate-high heat on a greased barbecue or in a frying pan for 7-10 minutes on each side until the burgers are cooked.

6

Cooking time will be dependent on how thick the burgers are.

7

Alternatively cook under a grill.

8

Serve the burgers on warm naan bread with lettuce, slices of mango or cucumber with a little chilli salsa and mango chutney if you wish.

To Make Salsa
1

Stir all of the chilli salsa ingredients together.
