Whether you're serving them as a starter, a light meal, or a tasty snack, these cheeseburger wonton cups are easy to make and packed with flavour – no buns required.
Ingredients
30 wonton wrappers
250g Quality Mark beef mince
⅓ cup grated tasty cheddar cheese
½ onion
diced¼ cup gherkins
diced2 Tbsp burger sauce
finely chopped chives
to serve
Method
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Line muffin tins with two wrappers, crossed so they stick up like a star. Continue with the remainder of the tray until they're all done.
Lightly spray with oil and bake for 6 minutes, then leave to cool in the tins. They may bubble up, this is normal.
In a hot pan, cook the mince, breaking it up as you go.
When it’s nearly done, take off the heat and gently stir through the cheese.
Fill each wonton cup with the cheese mince mixture. Bake in the oven for another 5 minutes and then remove from the oven.
Drizzle with a little burger sauce, top with shredded lettuce, the pickles and onions and a sprinkle of chives. Serve immediately.
