Ingredients

Kebabs
  • 600g Quality Mark rump steaks

    cut into 2cm cubes
  • 1 red capsicum

    cut into 2cm cubes
  • 1 green capsicum

    cut into 2cm cubes
  • 1 red onion

    cut into 2cm cubes
Marinade
  • 2 garlic cloves

    crushed
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp ground coriander

  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar

  • 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar

  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper

Method

For Marinade

In a bowl, combine the garlic, soy, olive oil, cumin, coriander, sugar vinegar, salt and pepper.

Place the beef into a large bowl, pour over the marinade and leave to sit for at least 40 minutes or overnight.

For Kebabs

Onto skewers place the beef, capsicum and red onion alternatively until all used. Refrigerate until ready to cook.

Preheat a barbeque or frying pan to medium heat. Cook the skewers on each side for 4 or 5 minutes until cooked to your liking.

Serve hot with a green salad on the side.
