I knew from an early age that I wanted to work with food. I began my career washing dishes after school in local Wellington restaurants and progressed through the ranks to become a qualified chef after which I retrained as a nutritionist. I currently work for the Heart Foundation developing recipes and food related content.
On the side though I’ve begun a journey into video production. I love writing about and taking photos of food but feel that video has so many more layers to offer the viewer. All it’s missing is smell and taste!
I enjoy making foods from scratch and want to show this in an entertaining way. My YouTube channel, Handmade Food, has been a wonderful platform to share my video experiments.
