Emily Tsaliagkou was born and raised in Athens. She took her first steps in the kitchen next to her grandmother Emilia and her mother Maria, realizing from a very early age that the kitchen would become her passion. She grew up among the tastes, smells and traditions of Greece, family, and she was nurtured by the principles of hospitality and sharing.
After arriving in New Zealand 11 years ago, with her husband and 2 girls, their passion of Greek cuisine drove them to create Taste Greece, a Greek food importing business, which led to creating Little Greece, their retail shop. Her great love is Emily's Greek Kitchen, her private venue, the place where she meets and shares her passion with everyone that has shared feelings for great food and Greek cuisine, through her cooking classes and catering services.
