Ingredients

  • 4 Angel Bay Gluten Free Beef Pattiesi

  • 2 iceberg lettuces

  • 4 thick slices haloumi cheese

  • 250g of cherry tomatoes

    sliced
  • a handful parsley

  • 3/4 cup Greek style yoghurt

  • 1/2 cucumber

    grated (seeds removed)
  • 2 garlic cloves

    pressed or minced
  • handful mint leaves

    chopped
  • pinch salt and pepper

Method

Pull apart iceberg lettuce in whole pieces to form the burger bun.

Mix together Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, mint and salt & pepper to make Tzatziki.

Remove the patties from the packaging before cooking.

Cook the Angel Bay Gluten Free Beef Patties from frozen.

If Air Frying: cook on 180°C for 13-14 minutes, turning partway through. Heating times may vary depending on the number of patties and air fryer power.

If Pan Frying: cook on a medium heat for 13-15 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes.

If cooking in the Oven: Preheat to 200°C and cook on fan bake for 16-18 minutes, turning partway through.

If Microwaving: Microwave (1000w) each patty from frozen for approximately 1 minute 20 seconds per side. Rest for 1-2 minutes. (Microwave heating times may vary depending on number of patties heated and microwave power).

Place a large fry pan over a medium heat and fry haloumi until golden on both sides.

Build the burger with iceberg lettuce on bottom, fill with burger ingredients and place iceberg lettuce on top.

Serve with potato wedges.
