Basically, a dumpling version of the smash taco trend, these little bites bring the flavours of the Big Mac without all the fast food nasties. Perfect for sharing and super quick to make, they’re a fun addition to any table.

Quality Mark beef mince
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
½ onion
diced
1 garlic clove
4 slices tasty Cheddar cheese
½ iceberg lettuce
shredded
12 dumpling wrappers
1 Tbsp finely chopped chives
burger sauce
3 Tbsp mayonnaise
3 Tbsp tomato sauce
½ Tbsp American mustard
2 Tbsp dill pickles
diced
2 tsp brine
from the pickle jar

Lightly season the mince in a large bowl

Press and flatten a small ball of mince onto one side of the dumpling wrapper. Get it as thin as possible on the wrapper

Repeat until each dumpling wrapper has been topped with mince

Preheat the pan over a high heat

Drizzle with oil and place the dumpling wrappers in, mince side down

Gently flatten each one with a spatula

Leave for a minute or two until starting to brown, then flip

Place a small slice of cheese on top of the mince and place a lid on the pan for 30 seconds or so until the cheese has melted and the bottom is golden and crisp

Top with the shredded lettuce, diced onion and a little of the burger sauce and serve
