Ingredients

Beef Wrap
  • 400g Quality Mark sirloin steaksi

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • 4 wholemeal wraps

Italian Salad Dressing
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp dried thymei

  • a pinch sea salt

Salad
  • 2 tomato

    sliced
  • 1/4 red onion

    finely sliced
  • 4 handfuls salad greens

Method

1

Season steaks with salt and pepper and oil. Heat a medium frying pan until very hot. Once pan is smoking add steaks. Cook for 3-4 minutes then turn over and fry for a further 3-4 minutes for medium cooked beef. Remove from pan and cover with foil. Allow to rest for 2-3 minutes.

2

Place all salad dressing ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.

3

Warm up wraps in a microwave for 30 seconds or on a dry fry pan on a low heat.

4

Slice the steak into fine strips. Alternatively use leftover sliced steak, cold or reheated.

5

Assemble wraps with salad ingredients, steak slices and finish with the Italian salad dressing. Fold and roll to eat.
