Craving bold, savoury flavours but short on time? This quick bulgogi recipe brings the rich, smoky-sweet taste of Korean BBQ to your table in no time. With tender, marinated beef cooked to perfection and caramelised for that signature flavour, it’s the perfect fuss-free dinner. Serve it with rice, lettuce wraps, or a side of kimchi for an easy, delicious meal.

Ingredients
- 500g beef flank steaks thinly sliced
- 5 Tbsp soy sauce 
- 2 Tbsp mirin 
- ¼ cup spring onion chopped
- 2 Tbsp white sugar 
- 2 Tbsp garlic cloves crushed
- 2 Tbsp sesame seeds 
- 2 Tbsp Grove avocado oil 
- white rice to serve
- capsicumi thinly sliced
Method
Whisk soy sauce, mirin, spring onion, sugar, garlic, sesame seeds, avocado oil in a bowl and season with pepper.
Place flank steak slices in a shallow dish. Pour over the marinade, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Preheat a grill pan or barbecue grill over high heat and lightly oil the grill with avocado oil.
Cook the steak slices for 1-2 mins each side until slightly charred and cooked through.
Serve with rice and some stir-fried capsicum (optional). Enjoy!
