Ingredients

  • 500g beef flank steaks

    thinly sliced
  • 5 Tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 Tbsp mirin

  • ¼ cup spring onion

    chopped
  • 2 Tbsp white sugar

  • 2 Tbsp garlic cloves

    crushed
  • 2 Tbsp sesame seeds

  • 2 Tbsp Grove avocado oil

  • white rice

    to serve
  • capsicumi

    thinly sliced

Method

Whisk soy sauce, mirin, spring onion, sugar, garlic, sesame seeds, avocado oil in a bowl and season with pepper.

Place flank steak slices in a shallow dish. Pour over the marinade, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.

Preheat a grill pan or barbecue grill over high heat and lightly oil the grill with avocado oil.

Cook the steak slices for 1-2 mins each side until slightly charred and cooked through.

Serve with rice and some stir-fried capsicum (optional). Enjoy!
