Perfect Sauces for Steak
Tomato Salsa, Garlic and Mustard and Chimichurri Sauce Recipes

These sauces are the perfect addition to any steak.
Ingredients
1 punnet cherry tomato
quartered4 sun-dried tomatoes
finely chopped1/2 red onion
finely chopped2 tsp oregano
1 garlic clove
crushed1 Tbsp capers
1 tsp white wine vinegar
1/2 tsp white sugar
1 cup cream
2 Tbsp wholegrain mustard
1 garlic clove
crusheda small bunch of chives
finely chopped2 Tbsp, chopped parsley
a small handful of fresh coriander
finely chopped
a handful of fresh coriander
finely choppeda small handful oregano
chopped2 garlic cloves
crushed1/4 cup olive oil
2 tsp white wine vinegar
Method
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and let them sit for at least half an hour to allow the flavours to infuse before serving with cooked steak.
Season with salt before serving.
Place all the ingredients except the herbs in a small saucepan and bring to the boil.
Immediately reduce the heat and simmer gently until the cream has reduced by half, then add the herbs.
Taste and season as required.
Combine all ingredients until well mixed (use a processor if you have one).
