The ultimate breakfast burger loaded with all your morning favourites. Portobello mushrooms, bacon and hash browns finished with a smokey BBQ sauce. A breakfast for champions.

Ingredients
4 Angel Bay Gourmet Beef Pattiesi
4 brioche burger buns
1 medium packet streaky bacon
4 Tbsp smokey BBQ sauce
4 hash browns
4 Portobello mushrooms
2 garlic cloves
minced or crushed3 cups cos lettuces
salt and pepper
Method
Preheat oven to 180°c. Place mushrooms on a baking tray seasoned with garlic, salt & pepper. Roast for 20 minutes or until tender.
Split burger buns and lightly toast under the grill.
Cook Hash Browns according to instructions on the pack.
If Air Frying: cook on 180°C for 13-14 minutes, turning partway through. Heating times may vary depending on the number of patties and air fryer power.
If Pan Frying: If frying, cook on a medium heat for 13-15 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes.
If cooking in the Oven: Preheat to 200°C and cook on fan bake for 16-18 minutes, turning partway through.
If Microwaving: Microwave (1000w) each patty from frozen for approximately 1 minute 20 seconds per side. Rest for 1-2 minutes. (Microwave heating times may vary depending on number of patties heated and microwave power).
Place fry pan over a medium heat and cook the streaky bacon until crispy.
Assemble burger - layer a generous amount of BBQ sauce on the bottom bun, followed by lettuce, patty, hash brown, streaky bacon, mushroom and replace the top bun.

This recipe is high in sodium. Reduce by using one rasher of bacon per bun, omit the salt used for seasoning
