Jonathan Willows

Jonathan resides with his wife and daughter in Cockle Bay, Auckland and his passion is to get dads in the kitchen with their children. This stems from his experience cooking alongside his daughter, which has created space for active listening and mindfulness, meanwhile preparing delicious meals to enjoy together.

Food has always been at the centre of Jonathan’s life with his earliest memories taking place in his parents family restaurant in a small fishing port in the UK. With over 30 years within the food industry, he is a qualified food technologist, holds a Master’s degree in product design, and is an active member of New Zealand Food Writers Guild.

He also was a finalist in the 2022 Great Kiwi Bake Off where he consistently delivered fantastic flavours. We can’t wait to see what he is cooking up for his next chapter - one thing for sure is flavour and family will be at the heart of it.
