Alice Bickerstaff

Alice is an up-and-coming culinarian passionate about creating and sharing high-quality, accessible food. Her work often incorporates foraged or native ingredients, bringing a deep sense of place to her recipes.

A recipient of the 2025 Food Communicators Scholarship, Alice has launched her food writing career covering connection, curiosity and manaakitaka in a series of articles for the Otago Daily Times.

Alice is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Culinary Arts at Otago Polytechnic. She enjoys exploring other cultures through food and looks forward to documenting her experiences travelling the world.
