Let's talk lamb mince
Did you know you can sub in lamb mince where you normally would use beef mince? It gives a slightly different taste but is equally delicious – lamb and mushroom lasagne anyone? We’ve gathered our favourite recipes with lamb mince as easy family dinners everyone will love.

Stuffed Aubergine
This is a winner in our books, especially when eggplants are cheap and the temperature starts to drop. Lightly spiced and topped with some cheesy goodness, few folks will say no to these.

Kiwi Lamb Burger
It doesn’t get more classic than the beloved Kiwi burger. Take the time and make these homemade patties – they’re superior in flavour and if you make a big batch, freeze really well too!

Greek Lamb sausage rolls
A little twist on the classic is much appreciated and there aren’t many who’d say no a plate of these hot from the oven. Loaded with capsicum and spinach, they’re a healthier alternative than their supermarket counterparts.

Lamb mititei with pita and tzatziki
Like a homemade sausage, these Romanian street food favourites are loaded with herbs and spices. You can shortcut by purchasing wholemeal pita bread and this becomes a super quick dinner.

Bolognese bianco
The red Bolognese sauce is a classic but have you tried it’s white counterpart? Loaded with spring vegetables and a light sauce, this is a twist on the favourite that’s easy and just as quick.

Lamb, spinach and feta pie
If you’re searching for an easy yet impressive lamb filo pie recipe, this lamb, spinach, and feta version is a must-try. With flaky filo pastry and a rich, cheesy filling, it’s perfect for lunch with friends or a light dinner. Just add a fresh green salad on the side!

Double down on protein for lunch and ensure you’re fuller for longer with these Moroccan wrap bowls. Loaded with lamb mince and chickpeas, it’s a trip to Morocco without the long flight.

Middle Eastern style nachos
We love nachos but sometimes the corn chips and sour cream are a bit too much. Enter their Middle Eastern cousin. Bright with herbs and pomegranate, these use pita triangles in place of corn chips and a creamy tahini dressing in place of sour cream.

Lamb and chickpea soup
We love a good lamb and chickpea combo, and this soup is perfection in the cooler autumn months. Roll the meatballs about the size of a large marble – you want them to fit on the spoon while eating.

Sticky sesame lamb meatballs
Serve up these lamb meatballs and your family will slam them back and ask for seconds. With the flavours of Asia, they’re approachable and so easy to whip up.

Spiced shepherds pie
We can’t talk about lamb without including a shepherds pie. Ashia’s one is laden with Indian spices in a full-flavoured twist. Leave the chilli on the side if you’ve got little ones, but it is a tasty addition.

Lamb and feta puffs
Taking a plate? These assemble in 20 minutes and will disappear even quicker! We love to make a double batch of the mince to keep on hand so these are even quicker to whip up.
