We love food on a stick, we love it’s convenience, the casualness of eating with your hands immediately exhibits a relaxed and easy dinner. Of course, you can buy these from your butcher or the supermarket but making them at home is relatively simple and inexpensive.
Here’s our collection of our favourite kebab recipes, perfect for BBQ season and fast dinners midweek.
Hot tip: If you're using bamboo skewers, it's best to soak them for at least 30 minutes beforehand. This is to prevent them from burning and breaking apart while cooking.
Lamb satay
Kids love a good satay sauce and these lamb satay are so easy to pull together. Marinate the lamb overnight in the fridge and serve with steamed rice and extra crushed peanuts on top.
Steak and coriander spiced kebabs
One for the coriander lovers! We think rump steak is one of the most underrated cuts and with this simple marinade, it’s a great way to prep ahead for a delicious midweek winner.
Lamb skewers with nectarine and mint salsa
Celebrate the warmer months with this lamb and nectarine combination. Make the salsa ahead of time, even the day before to allow all the flavours to mingle.
