Eric Murray's lamb burger

Eric and his son are real foodies and they love their lean red meat. Lamb ribs on the barbecue are Eric's go-to, but this lamb burger comes close. It's loaded with hummus and yoghurt to increase the amount of protein as well as heaps of veggies for a balanced meal. Serve the roast carrots in the burger or on the side with a salad, and dinner is made!

Caitlin Regal's spiced lamb flatbreads

This dish is a staple in Caitlin's household. She even makes the two-ingredient flatbreads and pickled red onion herself. The best part is that everyone can load up their own flatbread with the fragrant lamb and then pile on whatever veggies and toppings they like. Even a fussy toddler will wolf this one down!

Barbara Kendall's Mexican beef bowl

Barbara knows a thing or two about how to fuel herself for peak performance, which is good because she's now cooking for her athlete daughters. She makes sure they get enough high quality protein like New Zealand beef and lamb in their diet. This is one recipe that they love - take or leave the chillis!
